Ms. Nicole Fitzpatrick
PE Teacher
Nikki Fitzpatrick is the physical education, health and life skills teacher. She coaches volleyball and badminton and lends a hand where needed. Along with other staff, Nikki programs hockey academy and skate club. She is a lifelong athlete who believes in the importance of work- life balance.
She was born and raised in Edmonton to Polish immigrants. Nikki grew up playing a variety of sports at the recreation level. After high school, Nikki earned her diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and a Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta. Nikki is also a trained yoga teacher, specializing in kids yoga. With over 300 teaching hours, Nikki recognizes the importance of mindfulness for herself and aims to teach the children she works with.
Nikki has been working with children in a variety of capacities for 20 years and has been a school teacher since 2010. She has been a Fort McKay community member since 2018 where she raises her 2 children with her husband.
In the future, Nikki hopes to earn her masters in sports psychology or occupational therapy.
